FEATURES
Not Just A Game But An AdventureWe've taken the concept of coin-operated video entertainment one step further.Vanguard is a space jounrey of the highest order. The player, with the aid of an 8-way joystick and a 4-way missile, has 12 differenttunnel zones to negotiate with 8 different stages of play action. It all adds up toa remarkable game variation.
Continuous PlayEven the most experienced playerwill find Vanguard a supreme challenge. But when his progress is eventually thwarted, he won't have the frustrating experience of having to start from the beginning. Within 30 seconds of the end of the game, a player need only to insert another coin to pick up where the action left off. That means heighened interest as well as profits.
Speech With A PurposeWhen Vanguard speaks it makes sense. Cute sayings from a game are, well, cute. But they quickly become annoying to aserious player. Vanguar's voice, from its cheerful "bon voyage" to its booming "congratulations" truly aidsa player. Its warnings of danger and announcement of new zones adds just another dimension to this truly revolutionary game. Even the taunting laughter of the enemy Kemlus in the Bleak Zone is designed to raise the level of awareness and intensity of competition.
Loaded With FeaturesFeatures too numerous to mention, but we won't fail to mention reliability. You've come to expect it. We demand it.
